suitable for an overnight stay for a business person as well as a family on vacation.
The accommodation consists of a double bedroom, 2 single bedrooms, private WC facilities with shower, fully equiped kitchen & sitting room with TV.
There is also a small patio to enjoy the summer evenings.
Haddenham is situated 7 miles south west of Ely and 15 miles north of Cambridge.
The village has several shops situated in the High Street,
including a convinience store opened 6am-10pm every day.There are two public Houses, The Three Kings and The Cherry Tree both offering fine ales & food, a beauty salon and a thriving village hall known as the Arkenstall Centre.
The Holy Trinity Church dates from the 13th century and was extensively remodelled in the 19th century and the Baptist Chapel dates
from the late 18th Century and the present chapel from 1905.
In September, Haddenham hosts the Haddenham Steam Rally which attracts vintage exhibits from all over the country and is one of the
major events for the Steam Rally community.
The historic cathedral city of Ely is 7 miles north east. In addition to the Cathedral, there is a thriving town centre with a
selection of shops, including antiques and small speciality shops.
There is a large selection of resturants and takeaways to suit any palet and pocket. The very attractive waterfront with its boats, swans, geese and ducks offers a tranquil
walk. provides a very tranquil setting to enjoy the scenery. There are also other attractions like Cromwell House, The Ely Museum and the Babylon Art Gallery.
The University City of Cambridge, situated 15 miles south, needs little introduction with it's Colleges, the Backs, the museums and of course the punting. And you might even catch them training for the boat race.
Newmarket, the home of Horse Racing, is 17 miles south east. In addition to the National Stud, The Roly Mile & July Race Courses and The Gallops, there is a busy shopping street with a veriety of resturants and pubs.
For the wildlife enthusiasts
There is so much wildlife on our doorstep and to mention just a few: The National Trust's Wicken Fen Nature Reserve 8 miles east, RSPB wildlife Reserve at Welches Dam 6 miles north,
The Welney Wildlife Trust 20 miles north and The Raptor Foundation which is a Bird of Prey Sanctuary, is 20 miles to the west.
For the Anglers
There is plenty of fishing in the local rivers like the Great Ouse and, of particular interest, is Mepal Pits which is 7 miles north west.
